Paul Klein- I'll Be Home For Christmas

I don't really know anything about this musician but I dig this song. Merry Christmas.

Alt-J

Great Song, from a great album, from a band I'm really growing fond of.

Purity Ring

I am really really glad these two are getting the exposure they have been getting lately. Their hard work and talent are taking them places. It's nice to see a proper music video align itself with the tunes you can find on youtube now. Luckily I was made aware of this band thanks to the Low's being Megan James' cousin. Getting good down low info on a band is always enjoyable since I'm always looking for new tunes. Cheers to Fireshrine and cheers to the video.

The Staves

Saw these gals play live earlier in the summer when they opened up for Bon Iver. They have a new record coming out soon so check 'em out. They are sisters.

Cat Power

I dig this jam. She has new stuff coming out soon.

SHOVELS & ROPE

I really enjoy this band. I saw them a year and a half a go in Minnesota with my friends Asia and Catharine and they've been in heavy rotation on my ipod. I like their foot stomping, southern sounding, gritty way of making music. The gal in the band is a sweetheart too. We had a conversation after the show and she was nice as nice can be. They have a new record that just came out too. The video below is a little teaser for their latest record called, "O' be joyful". Get it. How can you not tap your feet to the beat of that music?

White Doves- Young Empires Good jam. Neat feel with the video. Because of said opinions, I put it up.

Tours- Low Life

I like this song. Pretty good stuff. Wacky video, great jam.

Foals-Spanish Sahara

My friends Stevie introduced me to this band, using this song. I'm glad she did because it rules. The build up is worth the wait. Listen to it twice.

The Anniversary

This takes me right back to high school. The gal in this band dated and married the bassist of The Get Up Kids. I always thought that was interesting. Pretty catchy tune with a pretty silly video. I still like it though.

Field Mouse

Here is another link to their official video. I like the one above a lot better. If you dig the tunes you can find more out about them on their bandcamp site.

Yuksek- On a Train

I like whats going on in the background as the train is moving. The song isn't too bad either. I could have done without the dude's face showing up in holographic format towards the end though.

Lana Del Rey

Talk about an infectious tune. Holy smokes. This song is somber, simple, and catchy. This Lana gal is pretty saucy too. She kinda has that jaded hipster aura about her that makes you bothered but not that much? The video has neat footage of California too, which I like. Super 8 is all the craze these days. Audio, Video, Disco- Justice

Justice has a new album out soon. Pretty good song.

Portugal. The Man

This video is a bit graphic towards the end. Even though it gets sorta gnarly, I wanted to post it because I liked it so much. I warned you about the blood so don't be mad if your mind gets boggled. There is a really interesting interview about it you can read right here. Sleep Forever is a neat song that you can find on the upcoming album entitled, "In The Mountain In The Cloud".

40 Day Dream

I like when bands make music videos for all the songs on their album. Especially if they make them all go together to make one giant story. Edward Sharpe is doing just that. Here is their latest. I enjoyed it. Hopefully you do too.
